About Strobo Font
With quirky 70's sci-fi movies like "Rollerball", "Silent Running" and Woody Allen's "Sleeper" in mind, I set out to create a unicase or uncial set somewhat akin to Amelia, the font on recent Stereolab releases (the name is derived from the song "Strobo Acceleration") and other "space age" fonts like Westminster. It didn't quite turn out the way I envisaged, but at least Strobo looks distinctive and sort of doovy.
