About Acidic Font
Acidic was the first typeface created under the Surface Type moniker. It began life in late 1995. As with all the typefaces we produce, it wasn't given a name until completion. It was so named for the appearance it had of having acid poured on the individual characters. Initially, this typeface had a large variety of characters but was later pared down considerably due to its large file size.
