About Chevron Dingbats Font
the first in a series of dingbat fonts based on the most basic of design elements.
The chevron is a symmetrical v-shape - an isoceles triangle that is missing one side. Chevron takes its name from French for "gable or rafter" for obvious visual reasons, and its use as a designate of ownership or rank has flourished.
