About Fancy Pants Font
The erstwhile Wadsworth A. Parker seems to have specialized in fussy fonts — my humble offering, Metro Retro, based on his Modernistic typeface, is one example; so too is Gallia (1927), which provided the inspiration for this font. For this version, I beefed up Parker’s lines and eliminated the multiple inlines, so the final result has a little more authority and a lot fewer frills (despite its name).
