Sadly this year 2021 my 82 year old father has been diagnosed with a growth on his left lung after a recent CT Scan (Computerized Tomography) . He already suffers from COPD so his breathing hasn't been very good for quite sometime, however pending the results of a PET scan (Positron Emission Tomography) we will know his diagnosis, we are all hoping that is benign and not the start of something more serious like a malignant tumour that may lead to lung cancer.

I had the idea for this my latest typeface after looking online for charities whom might benefit from 5% of the sale of my Charity Fonts, I found the European Respiratory Society and loved their dot lung design so I challenged myself to create a typeface based on a circle with a dot matrix consisting of only 69 dots, proved tricky but I think it worked, even SpideRaY looks cool!

Whilst creating the ampersand glyph as I was removing the dots, as the character became ghost-like, hence the final name FANTASMA, the grid background was obviously no brainer man! My original QR code I registered with @ http://kaywa.me/98F1U way back when SpideRaYsfoNtS domain was registered , the rest was added simply for fun...Get Ready Player One!
