FRIEDREICH&i-Regular is an experimental typeface inspired by Friedreich’s ataxia, a neurodegenerative disease that affects movement and coordination.
The letterforms reflect this concept through irregular, shaky, hairy strokes, evoking tension, fragility, and the involuntary nature of disrupted motor control.
Each glyph was crafted by hand, drawing from the body, tremor, and the struggle to hold a line under neurological stress.
This typeface is ideal for editorial projects, posters, and emotionally charged or socially critical design.
