About FUTHARK VIKINGS Font
With all the new interest in Nordic Culture and the true power of the Vikings and their conquest of Europe I decided to revamp one of my earliest typefaces based on the Futhark Runes that were used to write various Germanic languages before the adoption of the Latin alphabet. I guess it can be said that it was the first ever typeface ever used here's my take on the specific letters that I have adapted where I thought it was required. Obviously you can see that not every Rune matches up the modern day Gylphs but I guess that's part of the fun of it?
