This attention-commanding font is based on lettering from a French Indochina travel poster, designed by Joseph-Henri Ponchin in 1931. The name of the font is the French spelling, and also the name of a terrific movie, starring Catherine Deneuve, about how French Indochina turned into Vietnam.
