This font is a modernization of the Sundanese script, which is a letter inherited by ancestors. According to historical records, this script has been used by Sundanese people from the 14th to the 18th centuries. Traces of Sundanese script can be seen in the Kawali Inscription or also called the Astana Gede Inscription. made to commemorate King Niskala Wastukancana who ruled in Kawali, Ciamis, 1371-1475.
