About Old English fonts
fonts for Old English and Anglo-Saxon scholars (or just someone who likes the decorative Anglo-Saxon caps); Saxon/OE fonts include insular r and s, yogh, thorn, and other specialist letters. Thomas Jefferson avidly studied Anglo-Saxon and was very keen on its inclusion in the curriculum of the University of Virginia, which he founded, and which is where these fonts were produced.
