Super Mario Bros. Font

More info from Mario Monsters

Super Mario Bros. is a fan-made recreation of the chunky logo lettering from Nintendo's 1985 video game. Its maker drew it in Corel Draw and released it on August 4, 2000, after searching for the game's lettering, failing to find it anywhere, and deciding to build it himself. The letters are heavy angular blocks drawn as outlines with a hand-cut, slightly wobbly energy, the look of the game packaging and title screens. It is an all-caps display font by design: the set covers A to Z, figures and basic punctuation, 96 characters, and lowercase keys type the same capitals. It became one of the defining fan fonts of the early web. Use it for game room decor, party invitations, birthday banners, fan art, arcade and retro gaming projects, and anywhere a headline should read like a video game logo.
