The typeface was created to support independent comic and manga artists working with Cyrillic-based languages.
Originally designed for the comic series TroubleSide by Lugansk Contemporary Diaspora (a community of displaced artists from Donbass, Ukraine), instagram.com/lkd_dragon.
Inspired by Comicraft fonts and classic American comic book aesthetics.
TroubleSide supports over 35 Latin- and Cyrillic-based languages, including English, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Russian, Polish, Romanian, French, German, Spanish, and many more. The font includes uppercase and alternate uppercase characters, diacritics, punctuation, and essential symbols. It also features custom kerning for smoother, more balanced text composition.

V1.5 [26.04.2021] Added stylistic alternatives with accents (acute and grave accents) for all Cyrillic and Latin vowels. Also, accented vowels can now be entered through ligatures ("vowel"+"accent" without space).
