    About Tumult Font

Tumult, the typeface has been developed using a combination of water and food colouring to create a typeface is influenced and inspired by the movement of water. It is about the fluidity and organic nature that water possesses; each letter utterly unique in their patterns and textures. One of my experimental aims was to push legibility, I have created an uppercase of my typeface that is only decipherable in context; the typeface forces the reader to slow down and think about what it is they are reading, otherwise it is illegible. The lowercase of the typeface has been created to be more legible in contrast to the uppercase; it has been created using the same method, at a lower intensity to be clearer to the reader. Use is best above 20pt, otherwise it is too small to read, due to the amount of mess
