Usenet Font

More info from Apostrophic Lab

Usenet is a quirky slab serif with a nod to the early internet — its sturdy, squared-off letterforms carry the spirit of the old alt.binaries.fonts days, when this font was finished with advice from the newsgroup crowd. The Regular style is a clean, characterful slab serif; the Alternates style swaps in playful variant letterforms and built-in ligatures for a looser feel. Full alphabet and digits in both styles.

From the designer's readme: thanks to Keith Bernstein, Yummy, Todd Masui, WRC, Spiced Ham, Penny, and Ziggy — and everyone on alt.binaries.fonts who cheered it on.
