More info from David Rakowski
Varah Caps is an illuminated initials font by David Rakowski — blackletter capitals set inside ornate square frames filled with interlaced knotwork, like the decorated initials of a medieval manuscript. Capitals only; the other keys give empty frames. Made for drop caps, chapter openings, and medieval or fantasy designs.
