A bold, sturdy fraktur after the face designed by Friedrich Wilhelm Kleukens and first issued by the Stempel foundry in 1911. The letters are large with short descenders, which makes it one of the more readable blackletters here — it works in longer passages, not just headlines. Round curling capitals, even stroke weight, strong old-German newspaper feel. Includes A–Z, a–z, and 0–9. Missing punctuation: " # $ % & ' [ \ ^ _ ` { | } ~. Note: the hyphen character draws as a double bar (looks like =), not a single dash.
