In our hometown, there is a brew pub with a huge outdoor mural featuring its name. The brew pub name is painted in 8-foot tall letters on the brick facade over it's outdoor patio. To create Brewmaster Gothic, we took inspiration from that mural and applied it to our Turbonacular font, replacing the rounded edges with square corners and angles lines.

The end result is a firm, structured gothic with a lot of character, a huge complement of accented and special characters, full punctuation set, and an alternate set of uppercase characters in the lowercase.

Version 2.003 - Variable Makes Its Debut
In spring of 2025, we took Brewmaster Gothic back to the drawing board, merging Brewmaster Gothic Regular and Brewmaster Gothic Italic into a single master Brewmaster Gothic Variable Font (VF). Brewmaster Gothic can now be interpolated along the slant axis from 0 to -12 degrees.

Alongside the slant axis, we were also able to generate two new instances to scratch your variable width itch: Ultra Expanded and Ultra Expanded Italic.

A few new glyphs have been added as well, for good measure.
