Duuuuude. (I always thought "shagadelic" was a great word – combining references to sex and drugs. Now all we need is some rock 'n' roll!)
I'm afraid I can't come up with a good '60s/'70s description for this font (much less one even more appropriate than "groovy"); in the '90s, when I was enjoying the shagadelic life (or the closest Gen-X equivalent), it would have been called "the bomb." (Somehow I feel like this implies something deeper about people around my age, with our reputation for being apathetic and cynical in contrast to the idealistic, rebellious, fun-loving generation that came before.)
On an entirely different note, are you planning on adding special characters (accented letters, IPA symbols, Greek/Cyrillic/Arabic/Hebrew/etc. support, ...)?
